When people travel to Thailand ( the land of smile) they allways travel to the wellknown places and islands.such as Phuket, Phi Phi, Samui, Krabi, Chiang mai ,pattaya and many other places.But i live here in Thailand and travel with my Thai Girlfriend and her family to places where normally not much foreignercome and go because then not well known .These places might not have the luxury that you get in the Resorts but in know for sure even with a less little more comfort and luxury you would like to visit these places.Thailand is a big country and why should you stay in the top north of the land or down south.You can travel around Thailand easy and see many beautifull places.

Example when you go from Bangkok up north you drive allong many places and they all have their own local activities such as markets festivals and restaurants.in a place named Mae Yao national reserve between Chiang Mai and Lampang you find the Worlds first Elephant hospital.see picture .

Thailand has alot to offer aslong you are willing to travel and not afraid to have some sweat.
If you looking for luxury and comfort then go to the Islands or famous resorts.
